Anderson Wildlife Properties was established in 1993 in Johannesburg, South Africa and embarked on a proud initiative with Rand Merchant Bank to develop the widely acclaimed Welgevonden Private Game Reserve.

To date the company has been successful in converting, securing and extending over 300,000 hectares of pristine wildlife land in southern Africa and the creation of more than 500 new jobs with the critical transfer of skills which has made these projects sustainable.

Since inception Anderson Wildlife Properties has been responsible for the purchase and protection of over 70,000 hectares of conservation land with our focus being in the pristine ‘big 5’ wildlife areas.

Anderson Wildlife Properties has played an important role in the extension of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, the establishment of the Marakele Contractual National Park, the extension of the Marakele National Park, the development of private and commercial game lodges in protected areas, the development of a community/private partnership in the Pafuri region of the Kruger National Park and numerous projects aimed at increasing the coverage of protected areas in Africa.
